Dr. Janina Scarlet is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, and a self-professed full time geek. She has presented her work in professional psychological conferences, and other pop culture conventions, such as San Diego Comic Con. She uses Superhero Therapy, which incorporates characters from geek culture, including Superheros, into evidence-based therapy such as cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Joining Dr. Scarlett will be Professor Jack (Anthony) Gierzynski. His recent book Harry Potter and the Millennials: Research Methods and the Politics of the Muggle Generation (The Johns Hopkins University Press, 2013) was wildly discussed within the HP community. His current projects include a book on the media and politics, and research articles on the impact of entertainment media such as Game of Thrones, The House of Cards, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on the political views of fans of those shows.
